The love story of two people from different countries and cultures who get married makes for a beautiful union. Vicky and Shubham had such a great time planning their cross-cultural nuptial functions that they started their own wedding planning company in Switzerland.

Wedding Planning
Vicky and Shubham's love for travelling made them host two weddings, one in Jaipur according to traditional Marwari rituals, and the other one in a German Catholic style at a rustic farm in Germany. Guests arrived from 18 countries to witness the coming together of the two cultures, and all the action was beautifully captured by Khachakk Studios.

Wedding Functions

Pre-wedding Puja
The couple sought blessings from Lord Ganesha with a small puja in Jaipur before heading to Germany.

Breaking the Plates Ceremony
This fun ceremony took place in a small village called Fürstenberg, which also happens to be Vicky's hometown. The celebrations commenced with the bride's grandfather surprising her with a live band where his senior friends played sweet melodies on their flutes, drums, and metallophones before the Polterabend (pre-wedding) ceremony started. This whole setup was so emotional and it left the guests teary-eyed. This band gave a tough competition to the Indian wedding procession. During the live performance, the guests smashed plates, mugs, and even a washbasin on the road as a sign of good luck. The couple cleaned the path littered with broken ceramics after the ceremony. They even became slightly competitive in a cutesy, romantic way to see who cleaned up the path fast. The day went by with the guests enjoying a barbeque brunch in the lush green countryside

Wedding
The duo had a beautiful ceremony in an adorable church in Fürstenberg. The day started with Vicky getting all dolled up in a stunning, white gown in a salon where she received a sweet letter from her groom-to-be. She entered the church in a colorful vintage car driven by her father where she was welcomed by little kids tossing rose petals on the road. The lovebirds exchanged rings and recited their wedding vows at the altar. Their rings had the world map engraved on it, with the northern hemisphere on one ring and the southern hemisphere on the other, signifying their world is incomplete without each other and only when the two are together, just like the rings, they become whole. They even cut a three-tier cake before getting into the party mood. The venue was beautifully done up in a minimalistic way by incorporating fairy lights, white flowers, and sprigs of green leaves.

After-Party
The guests witnessed the first dance of the couple as man and wife before everyone hit the dance floor. The guests did a limbo dance and then grooved to the beats of hit Bollywood music. There was food, drinks, games, and fireworks that made their day very special and resulted in beautiful memories.
